I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but not all machines have the power to wheelie in all gears.
For example my little 250ex won't pull a wheelie in third without me on the wheelie bar and pulling up. Anyway, think of a clutch as a big brake pad, it wears down over time.
There are many things that can point to a clutch wearing, like slippage, loss of power, downshifting issues, and even excessive noises. I read this stuff a while back, so I wouldn't call the info 100% credible but hopefully this can help you out.

if you trace your clutch cable to the engine ,you will find a adjustment were you can loosen the cable allowing the clutch to bite better .....the proper adjustment for this cable is for it to not be pulled tight when the clutch handle is not pulled in..so you want juist a bit of slack in the cable..
I think you may have discovered the problem in time.. ive adjusted my clutch for the same reason and it works fine now

your adjustment is at your handle bars you can loosen it up and get some out of it but if you need a new one you just need plates and clutch pads not hard to put in but ya my 400 has a hard time pulling a wheele in 3rd and my is built to the hilt so i dont know if you could do it before no problem i buy me an 03 then

maybe so my just wants to spin i can ride from 2nd into 3rd and 4th and so on but cant just be i 3rd and pull it up going to fast and just wants to spin the way he says it hus will pull up while he is in 3rd gear just by power

yeah i would wheelie in third just rolling along when i first got it then the clutch is being stupid the problem is mostly like when you are in a high gear and like you it the gas a it just tacs up but the tires arent spinng as fast as the motor is up

if adjusted corectly there will be a little slack in the cable ensuring that the clutch is fully seated ..
.
theres adjustments at the top and bottom on my 300ex (both do the same thing)

.
circled is the clutch lever ....the bottom of the clutch cable connects here ...and this is where you check to see if the clutch cable is tight when the clutch handle is relaxed .( tight is bad you want a small amount of slack)
.
hope this helps

the reason i say at the clutch handle is because to get to the bottom you really need to take the exhaust off you cant see it that good and a pain to get anything to unless you take it off
