Default 20" tires on 02 Warrior

I need new rear tires as I can't stand the stock balloons... I have a good deal on a set of Turf Tamers but they're only 20x10. Will the 1" of ground clearance really make a difference? Any other issues with going from 22's down to 20?

I ride all trails and mud- is it worth cutting 1" of clearance?

it will make your bearing carrier lower to the ground and make it get hung up on rutted out trails a little more often but as long as your not hitting big mud holes or anything u should be ok, i use 20 inch razrs and i always ride in the XC type terrain and i usually do fine everywhere except when i gotta go through where the 4x4's have been, if you do want some good mud tires for a warrior that are a lil taller i would go with mudlite, mudlite XL's or interco swamplites or something but there pretty pricey.

If you ride through deep mud all the time, then you probably want to stick with 22's. The 1" will make a big difference over obsticles and through deeper mud. You don't have to go back with stock balloons, you can get another kind like the Holeshot HD's or the Holeshot GNCC's that are 22" but squared off and not ballooned shaped.

Plus Turf Tamers suck. They last forever but they don't get very good traction unless you modify them by cutting half of the ***** off.

I like 20" rear tires on the Warrior, but I avoid the deep mud holes and go around them.
