Default 1998 425 magnum wiring?

hi, this is my first 4 wheeler and i got it dirt cheap knowing it was in need of some repairs. first i have been looking online and i can't find a complete wiring diagram anywhere...anyone know of a site where i can get this? 2nd, anyone know of any salvage yards where i can purchase a carb. relatively cheap lol. or would i be better to buy a rebuild kit. the idle is hard to set..it leaks a lil from the screw on the bottom(forget what its called) and i think its missing a clip on the needle where the spring fits around. (sorry for the lack of vocabulary, this is my first one but my brother and friends are helping me a lot with it.) oh lastly is there a way to test if the generator is bad b/c i have lost all lighting recently and my fan has stopped running...which was hardwired by the previous owner. sorry if there is any confusion in this i just want this fixed as cheap as possible lol thanks in advance

Get your hands on a repair manual from clymer. it has a wiring diagram and all sorts of useful information that you're going to need.

As for the carb I'd try to rebuild it. if it is broken or something try ebay. You're gonna pay out the nose for one if you have to buy it new from a dealer.
