and wanted to say hello. Have been lurking for awhile and learning. I currently have a 01 Xplorer 250 still almost like new but have been thinking of going to a newer 4 stroke model for the noise factor. I just use it for dragging Deer in and setting stands and such.

Enjoy reading the forum.

I would like to stay with Polaris. I was thinking about the 400 HO but sort of started wondering when I went to look at them and saw it didnt have the low range like my older one does. I do use the low range on it dragging deer.

Howdy and welcome to the boards! I think you'de be happier with a 500 it has low range and another 100 cc's. Of course you could get one of those 850 jeeps...er..uh.. I mean 850 xp, they are really nice but more than needed IMO.
