Hello,

I have a 05 Outlander 400 that will not start. Replaced the gas and sparkplug but still not even firing a little bit. Tried some starter fluid directly in the carb and still nothing. Never been in water or mud so I cannot figure out if its something stupid I am missing. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you checked for spark, sounds like ignition, check kill switch. How long ago did it last run? Do you have the wrong key in it?

 

Been about 3 months - have the right key and has spark. I am lost

 

Betting you have it flooded with fuel, hold the throttle wide open and keep cranking it over. If that don't work choke it and keep it on and start cranking it.
