Default Help with a 95 Trail Blazer

Heres the deal. I have a 95 trailblazer I am working on for as freind. It wont start. Found it had stuck rings so I replaced them, and thought for sure that was the problem. Doesn't seem to be getting fuel. I have taken the carb off several times and am very confident that it is clean. I have played with the pilot jet, turning it in and out, but I get nothing. Has spark and a new plug. It will fire if I shoot a little carb cleaner in it. Any thoughts??

Have you checked your fuel tank and line?

check compression. with stuck rings you could have an egged cylinder. optimum is 115-120psi. acceptable is 100psi. carb cleaner has a lower flashpoint so it will fire off with low compression

The compression was over 100. The spark does seem to be a little weak. but even with weak spark the plug never appears to have and fuel on it at all

There is a possibility that the crank seals are bad and it is drawing air thru there instead of the carb.

I had considered that. The machine had a complete rebuild, top and bottom end. The oil pump was bad so the shop that did the rebiuld told them to run a premix. It ran for about 4 tanks of gas then seized the rings. Would that also take out the seals??

The entire carb had been cleaned, all the jets and passages have had cleaner and compressed air blown thru them
