My girlfriend got me a front storage box for me for xmas and I was wondering what all everyone carry's in the box? Help me out and lets make a list of must have's..

 

Tow rope, first aid kit, bungee cords, bug spray (in the summer LOL), tire repair kit, tire sealant... some other stuff too. You guys with XP's have that nice big storage compartment in the back that you can use for some of this stuff.

 

Tow strap, bungee cords, rain gear, binoculars, VERY sharp fixed blade hunting knife,shackles for use with tow strap/winch,gloves, and other misc.stuff that changes on a "per ride basis".

 

I put most of my stuff in the back and save the front box for bulky things like a coat and gloves, and long things like a 30" bow saw, ax, shovel, and machete.

I usually carry a backback or duffel bag with "ride unique" stuff, such as raingear, food, etc. I tried to put all the stuff in the front storage that stays in there all the time. I forgot I also store my and my kids gloves as well as our bandana's (dust mask) when not riding.

Some of the things I have in mine that 5J's didn't mention are;
Tripod for camera
A hat
2 small locks for front box
A nylon ATV cover
A fencing tool. ( It's a hammer, wire cutter,plyers,prying tool all in one)
Elec. tape
A water cup
Water purification tabs or drops
RX meds.
Hose clamps
Dry socks
Rope
solar blanket

I don't have all of these all the time depends on where i'm going and what time of year. Just more ideas!

 

Last night I remembered the most important thing - toilet paper. Baby wipes are good to carry too. You can wash you hands and goggles and anything else that needs washing. My first aid kit, tool kit, tire repair kit, pocket chainsaw, and emercency rain poncho all fit in the back so I don't need to take up room in the front with them.

 

probably wouldnt be bad if you ride in the middle of nowhere to get a multitool and matches and other survival stuff[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]
