owners manual, insurance card, tools, water, clothes wallet, phones, anything you can think of!

 

1 or 2 cans of Pringles depending on how many are in the group. I wait until they're half price and buy one of every flavor. I try to have it so my jacket or something keeps them (mostly) in one place. The cans are a lot tougher than chip bags. A pound or so of jerky in a zip-lock bag is nice to have in there too. Homemade is the best but I drive past several jerky outlets on the way to the trails. Cajun-Creole salted in the shell peanuts are an excellent trail snack if you can find them. I have a cooler full of ice cold pop on my rear rack to wash it all down.
