where to buy Polaris
#1
Looking for a new ATV, probably going with a 500 Sportsman. Not sure of HO or EFI (see my other post).
Just moved to Red Oak, TX - south of Dallas. Looking for the best place to buy new. I have not been in any dealer show rooms here locally yet.
I know there are a couple of good places in Tenn. - Athens and Union City, who have really good out the door prices on Polaris. Is there any one in the Dallas area who will match these prices, or any other "wholesale" type of dealers, such as the two mentioned in Tenn.?
Anyone with personal experience with dealers in the DFW or TX area?
Thanks in advance!

Best to pay a little more and get it from a GOOD local dealer. Some dealers are hesitant about warranty work on machines they didnt sell. They HAVE to fix it but they DONT have to get in a hurry. Now if you bought it from them they will try to make you as happy as possible

Well, I couldn't agree more. Make sure of what you are getting, and if possible talk to people who have done, or are doing business with the dealer. Read this following thread to see what I mean...

Doesn't matter that it's not a Polaris... it can happen to anyone.

I have read alot about this topic of buying from a dealer that will stand behind its machine, when it comes to warrranty work.
When I bought my ATV this year I shopped around locally, but ended up buying out of state because I found a much better price. (Hoped I never needed warranty work)
My atv w/180mi and 24hr had the tranny go out. I didnt want to travel 8hr to go to the dealer I purchased from. I ended up going back to my local dealer I had previously shopped to make the extended warranty claim.
They covered the repair $2500+ without any issues.
Anybody looking to buy an ATV in NE, I know a good dealer (I probobally should of purchased from) that backs a machine they didnt sell.
