just bought a pair of chains for rear tires and of course no instructions on installation. i went to install one and they seem to big .i am not sure if chains go over the tread or between the thread.i have stock 25-10-12 tires. any suggestions on installation would be muchly appreciated.

 

I think they go over the tread. It may help to deflate the tire, put on the chain, then re-inflate.

 

the chains seem to be to big, i have checked twice and i bought the right ones unless they were wrong in the box. the c hains seem to big as i can not totally tighten them. anyone else have this problem or any other suggestions?

 

wow, am i the only one using tire chains. any replys on installation would be appreciated
