Looking to install a cheap 2k winch on an old 91' Fourtrax. I see the brackets for sale, but am thinking more homemade would fit my style better. Anybody have pics or ideas that will work? Thought about some large U bolts to "clamp the whole thing inside the space, on the frame...might not work though. What about a 3" piece of angle welded to the front bars, or maybe stuck inside the "winch compartment" area?? I'm sure I can come up w/ something to work, but wanted more ideas and pics if possible. Thanks

 

We get a lot of older bikes in with homemade winch mounts .. Most just made out of metal like 1/4"x2" strapping & 4 U-bolts ..
