Default raptor 660

i have an 04 raptor 660 . it wont run without the choke. it will start and warm up but when i take off without the choke it sputters and backfires and cuts off. everyone i kno tells me diff stuff. som say its spark plug others that its my jets gummed up help me!!!!!!!

running way rich..to much gas not enough air,look at your plug see if it is black and wet,if so you need to rejet your carb..

gonna be your carb bro,its getting entirely to much gas and causing it to flood or overload,gotta do a carb job,pretty common though

just get your carb cleaned out, and you really should get your atv rejetted at least once a year

Your parking brake or reverse rev limiter is kicking in, do a search on it and you'll find instructions on how to disable it.

your carb cant handle the amount of gas its getting. thats why it runs with the choke on because its allowing alot of air into the carb,then you turn it off and cuts the air off. make sure you got your pilot jet with the correct amount of turns and clean that carb out really good.....
