Default Help Please

I'm trying to take off the head for this quad, 2000 foreman 4x4 400, and I can't find the hole where you check to see if the motor is at TDC before revoming the head. It smokes some but the compression is good, got it down to the valve seals. takin the head off and takin it to my head guy. Any help on figuring out if the motor is at TDC before the head removal would be great. Thx

there is a small plug on one side of the engine case. it takes a hex head wrench to remove this plug. there is i believe a gear with a T mark. turn the engine over with pull start and watch for the T mark to apear in the hole. when the rocker arms are both limp, have play, then you should be at TDC compression stroke
