I picked up the Polaris lock & ride front cargo box for my bike yesterday, it sure looks nice seems to be well made, also ordered the low lock & ride windshield in black.

I dont have any pics,it is nearly as big as the ones on the reg SP's just not as deep & it seels to have a better seal for dust & water. Not sure if you can put a cargo rack on with this box. The Polaris web site shows the XP LE with one on it.

Is there more room in this box than the storage box on the 800?

Does anyone know if you can still use a rack extender with one of these storage boxes?

The front rack extender attaches to the rack and the rack has to be removed to install the front storage box.
The only other way would be to drill holes in the top of the box to bolt on the rack extender, IF it would fit the top of the box. Then you would need to seal the holes to waterproof the box. Anything you put on top of the box will interfere with the light beam from your headlight pod.
