Default Should you clean the Clutch on an ATV?

I guess I am full of questions today. Sould the Clutch be cleaned and if so what would be the best thing to use? Also should you lube the the moving parts of the clutch? What would you use to lube it?

no lube. with the clutches spinning as fast as they do it would spin the lubricant onto the faces of the clutch causing problems for a while. the only cleaning i have ever seen recommended is to take a really light grit emroy cloth and lightly sand the faces of the clutch to break up any glaze thats there. it will allow the clutch to grip the belt better.

I sometimes blow the belt dust out with an airhose too.

compressed air to blow out the belt dust and i use scotch bright pads to clean up weights, helixs, and clutch faces if need be.
