Moose heated handgrip wiring?
#1
I was givin a set of moose heated handgrips with a high/low switch, but had no wiring instructions. Does anyone know how to wire them or a website to show a wiring diagram. One grip has two blue wires and one has two pink wires. I am assuming One post on the switch goes to a 12v lead or directly to the battery?

Run your power from a fuse or the ignition. If you have constant power, you leave them on all the time and kill the battery (I know this from experience).
The kit should come with a wire lead to hook to power and ground (to take to battery power) then clip into your grips.
Is there weather packed connectors? or just loose wires?

I guess I threw out the paper work on the heated grips. I would have to take the plastics off to see the switch. Bike is loaded in truck to go ride tomorrow. So Ill have to check it tomorrow.

I just installed a set of Moose heated grips this season. My wiring diagram shows:
White: ground
Blue: low
Red: Hi
Yellow: Power
I wired my power into the 12v power outlet since it was close and comes on when the ignition does so I don't drain the battery. It also says for added protection to install a 4 or 5 amp fuse but since it is already fused I didn't do it.
I don't think this will help you. It sounds like maybe you have an older version judging by the color of wires. Maybe you can call Moose? As long as you can figure out the power and ground, you can't hurt anything with the high and low. Good luck!

I got to ride today with my new heated grips. I believe they are the best money I have ever spend on the bike. My hands would sweat and we had freezing rain all day. They are awesome. Would highly recommend them.
