Yea... sorry to hear that. A lot of folks have trouble with the Polaris winches. That was one of the things I new ahead of time... got the Warn. Now, if only I had known that the Glacier II was pretty flimsy, I would have opted for a better plow system... lesson learned. Won't happen again. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Yea... sorry to hear that. A lot of folks have trouble with the Polaris winches. That was one of the things I new ahead of time... got the Warn. Keep playing with the switch up/down. Maybe it will start working again.
Had the same problem with my Chinese junk Polaris offered winch. The junk ones are easily identified by the Orange tether with Polaris written on it.
The only correct fix is to replace it with the Warn. You have a SP800 so I would suggest a 2.5 or ideally the 3.0 Warn RT.

How did you finish the work? Snowblower?

i called every polaris dealer in ma only one is open i think it said 12-3 so i have to wait and see and i didnt finsh yet i dont have a snowblower my back up is a shovel .
the gears inside went it go's down but not up .

My dealer told me the new Polaris winches are made by Warn,,,,their Chinese division, he said they were junk.

Polaris sure acted like those where the best winch money could buy lol. I know to stay away now thank god. Polaris claims to have a good warrenty program for them though. If it messes up they are supposed to replace or fix it. Go to purepolaris.com they have a video on the winch there...
