hey
i have a '99 blaster and with all blasters there are two ports in the clutch side case where the oil injecter is at. they look just like the ports used for liquid cooling motors. I was wondering what they are for? does yamaha use that case for something else? can you get the stuff to liquid cool a different top end on it? i'm a curios motocross guy who is always thinkin so any help on this matter is greatly appreciated by me and all the guys. thanks a lot

These ports seem to be used for the water pump on the dt200wr2(can't get 'em in us)Their has been an extreme amount of research done at blaster central.com. It turns out if you get the cylinder, head, pump, and radiator from a dt200wr2, you can make the blaster water cooled. The engine is on a dirtbike made in canada, japan, new zealand, and australia, at least. you should check out blastercentral.com they have been doing research on this for a LONG time.

I'm not exactly an expert on the subject, but I have been keeping watch on the blastercentral.com bbs and one of the members is going to put one on a blaster. Even if it did work, it wouldn't be practical on the average blaster. You need to have a high powered drag quad bored to 265-295 for it to be useful. Even with the 240 kit, the air-cooled cylinder is effective.
