Default Outlander 4x4 not working

Looking for insight on Outlander's 4 wheel drive not coming on. I have an 03 Outty 400 with about 1500 miles. Tried to pull the kids on sleds other day and found out my 4x4 was not kicking on, no 4x4 light, no sound when the 4x4 switch is flipped. All 4 fuses look good. No idea where to start my trouble-shooting.
Has anyone experienced this problem?

Only fuses indentified in Owners manual are 4 of them in front of the radiator in the front storage area. All four were in good shape. I also saw a Utube video showing how to troubleshoot and waterproof the 4x4 switch. I plan to try that next.

ya i figured since it was a 03 that there wouldnt be any fuses in the rear.... the connections probably just have to be cleaned in the switch

The 4x4 switch looks fine. I took it apart and no evidence of water or corrosion.

Next I wil check the wiring and make sure there is no corrosion/broken wires, and verify that I am getting power to the actuator.

I hope it is not the acutator, looks pretty pricey.

Not to mention a pain to replace. I have replaced a few actuators on the Outlander 400's. You have to remove the front shaft, and then remove the housing the actuator attaches to. There is a piece inside that usually breaks, it is shaped like a fork that slides a shaft back and forth to engage the front wheels.
