Hi guys, I've just picked up this modded 650XT. So far as I can tell blasting around the snow on it, it's a beast. It can't be stopped. Here's a link.

I've grown up riding dirt bikes and motorcycle to this point, I've never owned a quad. I have a couple questions. The bike runs fine, but it has a whine to it. I figure that's probably just normal CVT sound? Also, it has a funny whine when it's in park idling compared to when it's in any gear. Is this normal? Bike seems to run great. Starts easy, pulls hard, etc.

Also, how concerned should I be about this "frame mod"? I take care of my stuff, but I tend to push things hard. I will definitly be pushing this machine.

It's nice to meet you guys. Any tips, concerns, advice, etc is welcome and appreciated.
