Here's a situation I know you have all had. Your talking with someone and u are glad to find out they are into ATV's and motorsports. Then they say something dumb. I was talkin to this girl and she mentioned that her family had a 600EX!? I said, ok, they have a highly modded 400EX....NOPE, bone stock, honda just came out with it for 2002 and they got it..RIGHT...I almost believed her. Until she mentioned that she also had a BONE STOCK 1995 Mustang 5.0 that runs a 13.1 quarter mile. About that time I was betting her every penny that i have to my name that her car didn't run a 13.1 quarter mile if its bone stock. Just thought u guys might like to hear that one.

Don't know if "stupid" is the best adjective, 660R01; stupid may oversimplify and even be inaccurate. For example, descriptors like "ignorant," "self-deluded," "mendacious," etc., come to mind.

The movie, "Two-lane Blacktop," starring Warren Oates, explores (fictionally) the pathology of inflated claims of vehicular performance; check it out at your video rental store some time, interesting! See, Warren Oates is driving this hopped-up car down the highway and stops to pick up this young couple, and . . . aw, rent the tape!

The next time someone utters a claim you disbelieve, regarding a vehicle and/or it's performance, say simply, "FANTASTIC!", regardless of what you think. You'll win friends and influence people, in contrast to other responses you might choose.

Yup, my friend was trying to tell me that he saw a 600EX at the dealership with his friends. So I asked his friends and they all laughed at him. They also told him their is a 1000EX. Then yesterday he told me that since I took my front fenders off on my blaster that my socks will burn out.

Ya,I was out riding one time w/ my brother and some retard walked up and said he had a "Baja 350" and that he had made this jump that was completely impossible...

he supposeddly jumped about 150 feet off a small mound w/out any kind of runway to pick up speed.

Whats always fun, is to make up stuff infront of people who think they know whats going on but they really dont have a clue. When you are helping them with a quad/car/etc. just make stuff up. Be like there is your problem, your kanooter-valve has blown to shreds. Maybe suggest to them they ought to call a shop and ask for a new one. (i borrowed this on from drew, thanks man)

Those belts suck, I ran out of blinker fluid today. Try driving anywhere without that.

Or I love the type that is overly uninformed-- My friend(he thinks) SMILEY(because thats all he does no matter what you call him) Always asks why dont I mix the gas like I did for My Sport or my Banshee . I told him a Raptor isnt a 2 stroke, He said so, Mixing It just makes it go faster right.
He went and put a deposit on a RAPTOR Because I did, He Didnt know I had got mine and was telling me that the dealer let him take the second one they got for a spin and that it was too much power for me to get one. I had to tell Him I had mine for a month already( i had the first one).
So hes like 4 on the list and calling the dealer every day dropping my name and stuff, wanting his raptor sooner. They call and ask me does he have the money. I told them probably not all of it, So he was rushing to get his 4 wheeler and theyre tired of him. Boom he paid cash for a 2001 Warrior because they told him that They would be possibly 2 months before the next shipment. So A week later he went to get an oil filter with me and they had 2 Raptors on the showroom floor. SO then the talk starts that the warrior has more torque, and that six speed is just as good as a banshee but just not as fast as a Raptor.
Then theres always the where do they sell reeds for my Warrior? And the how fast does that Raptor go about 90?, it leaves my warrior and the dealer said it goes about 75.
He talks about the leafspring being too stiff on the back of his warrior. He told me hes getting a set of low profile tires for a Ford, I suggested no less than 60 series, since it was a 4wd ford. He was like no Im getting 255/95/18's, 18 was not even the rim size, and I have never seen a low profile on a 4wd, or a 95 series(higher profile) tire at that.
He has far more money than sense, he bought a 2000
4x4 offroad ford in oct. his 2001 warrior in october, and In january bought a 2000 ford Lightning without trading in the 4wd. He only works in a factory. So we are all waiting to see what gets sold dirt cheap first.
Some People cant be helped. The others just cant listen

My cousin and I were riding one day, and we see this hill, and it was STRAIGHT UP! He proceeds to tell me that he went riding without me one day and he ALMOST climbed this hill. I said "what do you meam ALMOST?". He says, well I got all the way to the top and the bike started to come over on me, you know what I did? I said what? He says, just when it got to the piont where I couldn't save it from flipping, I jumped over the handle bars and grabbed the front bumper, and saved the bike from disaster.

I guess gravity wasn't into effect the day he was doing this big "Save the Day" stunt! Nor was anyone else around to witness it.
