havent been here in a while so I thought Id update you all on my Recon...

so far Ive added 55w forg lights, LED strobe lights, a 2000lb winch and best of all, 48" Eagle snow plow! this thing is a beast in the snow! 80lbs on the rear and it plows with no problems!

Is your recon a 4WD? We'd like to add a plow to mine, but wasn't sure how well a 2WD would plow. (Not even sure there are 4WD recons...)

BTW you did good work on your quad. Kudos.

 

Thanks, the recon is 2wd and I would highly recomend a plow. I just added 80lb salt bags (2x 40lbs) on the rear rack and it did fine plowing, even the heavy/wet stuff. Also, for $40 you can get tire chains which Ive heard make a world of difference.


Anyway, you will be fine plowing with a 2wd (like mine)
