a-arm help
#1
This is probanly a very stupid question, but I was wondering what it is that I have to do if I want to get wider a-arms. I'm looking at +2+1's right now. What do I have to do? Get new shocks? Longer brake lines? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

You could just get some wheel spacers. Thats the cheap way.</end quote></div>
I've heard that can make your steering pretty funky though. Plus it will expose the front brakes and everything.
You would need longer a-arms, longer tie rods, probably longer brake lines, and most likely new, longer shocks.
My cousin has one of those kits that moves the a-arms mounts outwards. He just doesn't have the longer shocks yet. But I would use his kit before front wheel spacers.
The spacers and widening kit are going to be substantially less expensive though. A-arms shocks and the whole kit and kaboodle will cost a very very pretty penny. But will also perform much better.
