Wow, you're a smart-a$$. You know what I meant. I never said anything about spacers. And judging by your other replies, I read and write a lot better than you.

this is crazy the guy wanted basic info on if he needs longer brake lines and different shocks to widen his 400ex......
.
I dont have a 400ex but do have a 300ex that i put 400ex shocks and arms on and the stock brake lines worked for me...
.
and i made a shock relocater braket to mount the 400ex front shocks..i think he could do the same to relocate his stock shocks so he can keep his current ride height....and if you cant weld take it to a welding shop they will make you one
.
and youll need longer tie rods but they come with the a arms sometimes

1. mx360snow: I do not need an attitude change, I simply wanted basic information amd Amuro went on a weird angle completely different of what I wanted to know. It could have been a misunderstanding and I'm sorry for over-reacting. Guess I was just feeling pissy...

2. Y2daT: Thank you very much for the info. That is what I needed to know.

if you have the cash the cheapest way to mod out your 400ex is to find one already modded for a resonable price..buy it..swap out the parts you want ..and then resale it ....but with our economy like it is, you may wind up with two fourwheelers...
