I was just wanting to know if the Kawasaki mount(Part #KVF750-013A) is required to mount the Koplin Gun Boot to my 08' Brute Force 750 or can I use the Koplin universal mount instead?

id say just go to the dealer and ask to order a kolpin gun case and a braket for it, if you have case , ask to order the bracket they will most likly know what your talking about!

 

The gun mount won't work with the 08-09(per Kawasaki Engineer), you have to order the Kolpin IV one piece gunboot bracket Part Number KN20029, I just got it in last night and that one will work... got mine for $29.95 + shipping.

Thanks for the reply though, hopefully someone else can learn from my mistake and not order the wrong one the first time.
