Full bottom skidplates?

Default Full bottom skidplates?

Im getting a Moose brand full bottom flat skidplate front and rear combine to be one flat surfboard like appliance]
anyone currently use a full skidplate?
Can you really beat the snot out of them and they still protect you?
is this a good invest,ment?

Default Full bottom skidplates?

they will protect your atv better but i never liked them just for the fact that i mud alot and it just gets caught on top of the skid plates and its harder to clean. but as for protection theyre a good investment
