A better comparo would be the 250R vs the Raptor 250 but I think the nod would still go to the 250R!

 

The 250R is a high performance machine. Old, but high performance. The blaster is an entry level quad. They aren't comparable quads.

not a fair compairson, unless the blaster had the YZ 250 conversion.
In that case, the 250R had only mild mods power would be pretty close.
but unless the blaster had full susp the 250R would simply out jump & handle the blaster.
