I would lean toward inch pounds - especially for the front sprocket. That sounds light, though. I would use 30 - 40 ft pounds if we can't find an accurate torque spec. Those front threads might not take 124 foot pounds - that is a pretty hefty load. The rear sprocket would most likely be around 30 foot pounds as well. Be sure to tighten in a criss-cross pattern on the rear.

sorry i misread ,thought you were asking about the rear only . rear 124 lbf in
front 103 lbf ft , just to clarify the rear is in inches and the front is in ft . and yes it does seem like alot for the front , but look at the size of the nut,

i saw manuals on e bay cheap. dont assume with the ds , i'v worked on bikes for years , and most of the torque spec's seem high, but most of the bolts are a size bigger than other bikes. so what has always worked befor might not be enough.
don't get me wrong . since you made me look it up i have to retorque mine. i will run a little less on the front , so i can chang it on the trail for drag racing. [ i hate to be beat] so far i havn't . i have the only bomb around, that get's ridden anyway so i got alot riding on it .

I know the front is just over 100Ft Lbs like Brian said, I use 100 as its easy to set, but I'm going to look the rear up, 124 In Lbs (10 Ft Lbs) sounds kinda light.

These are correct per my manual, Torque Specs
