Are you looking at new or used? Either way the Polaris 500 is a awesome quad for Plowing and is much easier on the body for trail riding than a Rancher! Welcome to the forum!

Bean, there are alot of good quads out there around the $6599 that the Honda is quoted at retail. Suzuki 450AXi at $6699, Yamaha Grizzly 450 at $6699, Kawasaki Brute Force 650 at $6899, and the Polaris Sportsman HO (carb.) at $5999 and 500 EFI at $6999. I personally think the HO carb. is a steal at $5999 but prefer the fuel injection. I don't know too much about the quads that Arctic Cat and Can-Am offer. Another plus with the quads mentioned is that they all have a way of engaging full all wheel or four wheel drive. The Polaris system is automatic. Just put it in AWD and it kicks in anytime there is 1/5th of a turn difference between the rear and front wheels. It is seamless. You don't even notice it other than the fact you are going through or over just about anything.

Not sure Bean. They factor alot of information into loan approvals. Dwelling, net versus gross income, other loans, credit score. It may be a little harder than it was this time last year. Credit shouldn't be a problem if you have a good score.
