Default Can"t keep chain tight

I've got a 06 trail boss 330 and I can't get the chain to stay tight. I adjust it as said to by the manual loosen the two bolts on the rear end but punch throught the hole and roll the atv to tighten the chain then tighten the two bolts. I can go riding for a few hours put by the time I get back the chain is laying on the swingarm i'm talking sloopy loose. Cloud someone please give me some ideas on what to do to keep my chain tight.

Default Can

I would start by jacking up the rear of the quad and check the rear axle and swingarm bolts for play

If your talking about the bracket that bolts to the side of the swingarm yes I loosen it when adjusting.

06 kinda early for chain to be worn out,but if chain has excessive side to side play on chain links(when chain is loose) then possible. Tighten chain to 3/8- 1/2" play in middle of chain between sprockets then TIGHTEN axle bolts to about 50 foot pounds! manual will give exact torque specs. When I adjust chain I just impact TIGHT! After adjustment jack up and turn wheel,if chain varies in tightness, tight, loose, then tight again, then chain worn.
