power source for new PIAA lights
#1
need suggestions for wiring my new 520 ATP light switch. it just says to find a power source to connect switch to (came with a nice 1 touch connector)
is there an obvious one to use? my first time doing this so a little worried about choosing incorrectly. (not too worried, its just the on/off switch!)

I don't know, I am right in the middle of my horn install project. I am doing it all from scratch. My electrician cousin has given me moral support over the phone, LOL. He told me the higher the gauge wire the better as far as safer less prone to shorts etc. I am using 16 gauge auto elec. wire bought from autozone, 20amp fuses (with fuse connector), circle leads to crimp end of wire to the kind I can put a small screw thru, solder for the connections and heat shrink tubing for going over all connections to secure from water, exposure, etc. etc. Wiring a BadBoy WOLO horn to my 12v battery and using a small black (so it blends in with my Stealth Black light POD housing) two-pronged push button switch.
I think you may need to tap off the rear lights wiring. A few will chime in, as this has been done before. Check with HO, DAVEXP or DCT, those guys running the XP Sportsman, one of them has the PIAA lights on the rear I believe.
