iv just picked up a 98 gizzly on the cheap, motor runs well and it drives up untill about 45-50kmh then it tops out, i found the other that the air intake pipe to the ultramatic had split in two places once right at the base near the hose clamp and once a bit further up near the exhaust, so i guessing that im going to need to check how much water is in there, i havent been able to find the water drain for it?

how much is a drive belt for these usuallly? how big a job is it to change them?

also the rear axle seems to be leaking oil, is there oil seals that fail in there?

I have back ground in automotive spare parts but not so much in the actual installation of parts so any ideas will; be greatly appreciated, also the forum looks great

 

I just bought a belt for my suzuki and it was about 65 bucks and it is a little time consuming to change but not that hard at all
