Default Foot shift assist

Some time ago I read (can't remember where) about someone who made a rod of sorts that would enable one to shift with your hand instead of your foot. Anyone have any information on that accessory? Thanks, Tom/Idaho

I had one on my Yamaha for many years and I got it from Dennis Kirk. I have since taken it off since I began using my Grizzly full time and my kids don't like it on there as it gets in their way. They would be really easy to fabricate if you can't find one. I will do some checking also and let you know if I find one.

Do a Google search of "ATV hand shifter" and you will get a lot of hits. Moose makes one as apparently do some others. There are even some on Ebay.

You can make one with a broomstick and some hose clamps.......I've seen one and it was pretty solid working.
