Raptor 700 fit in dodge dakota bed?
#1
Hi guys. I finally found someone to buy my 2003 Warrior. Now, I want to buy a new Raptor 700. But, I may have a problem. The raptor specs say it is 46.1 inches wide and the wheel wells on my 2006 Dodge Dakota are about 45.25 inches wide. Will it fit or will I have to also buy a trailer?
I have a quad cab, so there is not enough room between wheel wells and the front of the bed.

i have both a 99 extended cab dodge dakota and a 99 yam big bear 350 4x4. i can put a 6 inch foam pad between my rear sliding glass and the front push bar and put the quad in neutral, push on the rear rack and shut the tailgate totally. then i put it in gear and set the parking brake. the fit is perfect, and i have a drop in bed liner in the truck too.

Its 45.25 from the inside of one wheel well to the other, you will be fine there. You may run slightly over the wheel wells when parking it in the bed--thats the case in my 03 Dakota with my Warrior with +2 A Arms. As long as you aren't in a quad cab with the really short bed and have the standard dakota bed (6.5 feet) you will be fine.
EDIT:
Just noticed you are in the quad cab. I think width wise you will still be ok, but length will be a problem. You are going to have to leave the tailgate down and possibly put some foam between the bumper and rear window. Not too sure though. Ask a dealer if you can do a trial load
