I have beaten a stock 250r in a drag before but had my doubts against a fully modded built for MX. But these fears were put to rest today.

My Raptor has enough bottom to pull and beat the 250r even with a bad start. We raced three times. First time I got the jump and walked away. Second time he got the jump but I ran him down at the finish. Third time we went off even and pulled I it out.

Had we went to full out dragging I would have beaten it easily on top end. At the end of each race I was pulling away fast.

By the way this 250r beat stock Raptors by two or three lengths in the same drag area. This 250r also finished ninth in 250b class at a national this past summer.

Blue Raptor
Renthal bars, 42 rear sprocket, Big Gun header, GYTR silencer, DG front bumper, Durablue axle +5, LoneStar A-Arms +3, Fastline Brake lines, TCS Shocks, No airlid

I am tired of everyone trying to flame others. Kyraptor congrats on your win! This board has gone to ....!!!! The past messageboards I have been on have always started out good then they start out in a flame war. I come here for info on my atv's not to use it for personal agenda's. And no, no one told me to read this post but I was interested in the topic only to see flames.

Do you want a medal or something? You have an engine 250% larger than his, is this really fair???

If everything was fair in life.....there would be NO winner! Somebody has to win....and then they will get critcised for winning. I, being a raptor owner, are glad you won. I wouldn't say it was too unevenly matched if the 250R hung with him pretty good. That's like saying that the modded 250R was cheating when it beat the stock raptors.....think about it.

the race was fair, but the motor comparisson is no where near each other. how bad that is for a 250 to be to keep up with a 660 moddded and beat a stock 660 or whatever they are... just imagine if they had 660cc R's, or why dont you just race a CR500 equiped R. have fun

You guys are all screwed in the head. Give the guy some credit, he beat what is probably the most impressive quad ever built. Plus it's a 2 stroke. Good Job kyraptor. I used to have a 250r and loved everything about it except the maint. Now I have a raptor and love the torque. 4th gear roll on wheelies without a clutch, try that with a 2 stroke or a 400ex. Anyway, I said my peace.

Do you think its fair to run a 250 in a 125 class (motoX). But Any way to me the only way a four stroke could beat a 2 stroke is to have at least double the cc of a 2 stroke. Bet ya that you want see a raptor beat a lt500. Im not making fun of the raptor or anything thats just the way i see it and im hopefully going to get one really soon. gota like the reliability of the 4 stroke. thats just my 2 cent
