Smoked a Fully Modded 250R!!!!

I will just quote an old drag racing saying:"Run what you brung and hope you brung enough". That 250R just didnt bring enough. Name another quad that is currently sold that will outrun a Raptor in a drag race right off the showroom floor. Give the Raptor some credit Haters!

You are a bunch of Lame losers talking that trash about KyRaptor. The fact Is he has done well to beat a fully modded 250R. No he didnt say 310R or 350R or 410R or CR500 either. He SAID 250-R People. A fully modified stock sleeved engine.
The Rest of you losers Must not realize that there is a major difference in the power of a 4 stroke engine and a 2 stroke engine. The basis being in the design. 2 strokes to turn the crank once or 4 strokes to turn it, which is faster and more efficient. 2 stroke. so its roughly making over 2x the power at the same displacement of a 4 stroke. Thats without discussing cooling and oiling.
Why doesnt honda still build the 250X if it was the equivalent 4 stroke version of a 250 R engine?
Why doesnt the Warrior smoke the Banshee? Why doesnt the Scrambler 500 smoke a quadzilla? GET A BRAIN PEOPLE.
Theoretically people it would take a basic design fourstroke double the displacement to create equivalent power. 500 cc 4 stroke to beat a 250 cc 2 stroke, 700 cc to beat a 350cc banshee. This is based on simple stock designs of either engine. How the raptor does it is through better designed heads, water cooling, lighter engine parts, and dual carbeuration.
He plainly stated that the R would smoke a stock Raptor, meaning It would smoke a banshee or 400 ex also. Yet He beat it on a slightly modded RAPTOR.
No one gives a rip about your 4 stroke unfairness conspiracy theory. Thats plainly why the yz250f and yz 426 are in the 125 and 250 class respectively. They win though due to Great engineering and rideablity of Yamahas design.
JUST QUIT WHINING!

displacment cannot be denied yammiraptor. So how is it then that a 440 beats a 660. Torque is the answer. Ask yourself honestly, does the honda 440 have more torque than raptors? Who gets out of the hole first. Raptors have the potential. A 2003 Raptor will be awsome.

Doug Gust was at a drag race in IL. He raced his national R with the rest of the R's and got beat pretty badly. A mx quad is set-up for exactly that, not drag. Throw in corners NO CONTEST! Pudjumper, I'd really like to see that. I had one enter my class at an event once and I didn't get to race it. It got beat by the DS's and Raptors I spanked!
