96 big bear no spark

Default 96 big bear no spark

ok i got this atv and the stator tested good but the guy said that the reason that it quit is that the key switch wires melted together.what would be a possible problem also the coil is new .i am hoping it is not the cdi are there anyway to test it.thanks for any help

You can unplug the key and it will bypass it automatically. Also try a new spark plug. If that doesnt work check your grounds then look into the coil then the CDI.

when there is a no spark issue, always rule out the engine kill switch first. that is the most common thing.
