My 05 Predator 500 recently has been hard to start and blows blue smoke when cold. I found one of the air intake clamps loose and suspect it may have sucked some sand into the motor. The oil seems to get dirty very quickly ?? If , as I suspect, the motor need to be rebuilt - how much should I expect to pay to have it done at he dealer? Any other recommendations on where I might have the work done? I'm in central California? Any Ideas on what I might check.

OK ! I'm an Idiot. A paranoid Idiot. Engine was not blown. I took it to the dealer to have it worked on since I had no time for another project. As it turned out all it needed was a vave adjustment and a new air filter.
