Default Sprockets

I have an 06' Raptor 700 with stock sprockets front & rear. I dropped a tooth in the front which allowed me launch in the sand a little better out of second gear but it feels a little high. Here's my question, would I be better off keeping the stock front and adding a tooth on the rear, or will I get the same result as dropping the front tooth? Thanks in advance.

A 1 tooth change on the front is close to a 3 tooth change on the rear, so I'd suggest bumping up the rear before losing another on the front.
