can anyone tell me if i could get a cdi off ebay and use it the ones on ebay say there for 03 to 06 i got a 00

 

On are old 2001 scrambler 90 we used a newer one cause it was cheaper and easier to find. If you can get it cheap go and try it. worked for mine.

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] If doesnt have fire,might check out stator first. I havent had any bad cdi's only shorted out stators or every now and then short in safety switch/tether. Just from my experience,have had a bunch of stators go out because of water and mud getting in through stator plastic air duct,newer ones have rerouted cooling duct.
