2007 grizzly will not move
#1
This question is for a buddy of mine "chadaroo" he got his 2007 660 grizzly stuck on a river bank . He locked the 4x4 differenal and managed to snap the front left shaft because the tire was off the ground, tried to use the wench to pull him out and that snapped. finally managed to free it by going back into the river 2-3 feet deep and back tracking.
Then the quad would move very little, so i do not know if the belt is wet or he did more damage to it. i tried to move it this morning and it moves very little in foward and reverse the motor revs but the quad does not go anyhere had to pull him out of the woods with my quad.
thanks for your input

yes the drain plug is at the very bottom of the belt cover, you can drain the water out but that plug is for when your on the trail and you need to drain the water to get home. I would recommend that you remove the belt cover and clean the whole belt system out and re-grease the clutch, it's not that hard of a job. Here is a how to for the belt systems...http://forums.atvconnection.co...tid/93/threadid/548363
