Default 01 polaris scrambler 90 no spark

Hi I have a 01 scrambler 90 I bought new and has been great tell about a year ago with no spark I have changed the cdi box,Stator and the coil and still have no spark any ideas. Is there a certain gap between the pickup eye and the flywheel.the test light pulses on the hot spade of the coil but no spark. It also has a new end that the sparkplug goes into.I have close to $250 to $300 into this thing now and still nothing I`m about to burn it.It started to run ruff one day like the carb was running out of gas then I drove it in the shop and shut it off.The next time I went to mess with it about a month later it didnt have any spark then came the parts changing. So how could it be running then just go to crap by setting.Everyone tells me it`s just my luck nothing new LOL.Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did change the plug and still no spark I bought the stator from rickys stators I`ll have to ask him about the gap.I know before I didn`t change the stator that the hot wire going into the coil didn`t have any spark but now it does. but nothing out of the sparkplug wire yet and it`s a new coil. The motorcycle shop said the coil was a universal coil good for eather 6volt or 12 volt but I don`t no if they make a universal coil.I`m not much good with electrical stuff. And the bike shop didn`t seem to be much help.So I figured I`d just as well change parts as to pay them to change them.I`ll have to check my grounds again just to make sure.An hanks for your reponse.I`just can figure out why I have power to the coil and no spark out of it yet.

you can get power to the coil all day long but if the pickup coil doesnt ever send a message to the coil to spark then it wont.
