I have just purchased a 2005 TRX 450 R and would like to install a tethered kill switch but am unsure of whether I need a normally open or normally closed one. I dont have a manual yet for this unit and dont know how to tell if its an open or closed circuit. Any helpp would be awesome. thanks in advance

 

A closed to kill (most common) will work. The coil is on the left side in front of the engine, by the radiator. It has a factory plug with a standard automotive type spade male/female. Put one wire in between that connection and the othe rwire to the frame ground that hold the coil to the frame.
