Default JCL-MAS110C-8 has no power on take off....WHY???

My daughter has a JCL-MAS110C-8. Its fully automatic and has the 18" tires on the back and 19" tires on front. It seems to have really next to no power from take off. You can floor the gas and it almost wants to fall on its face unless its super warmed up. Then after that its a slow take off even when flooring it. Strange thing is though if you put it in reverse its very peppy and responsive with the slightest amount of gas. i wish forward was the same way. Why is this? Is this normal? Can this be fixed or is it just the way it is?

What is that? A Chinese quad? Most that I've had experience with were this way after a few weeks. Check to see if you find the sprocket and/or chain slipping. Seems to be a common problem.

Yes it is a chinese quad that came from a local dealer. They are quite expensive for chinese atvs. Their website is www.jclusa.com. Its a perfectly good little quad. It has only been road once for 30 minutes on gravel. Its done this no power take off thing since the start. Its only 2 months old. So im not really sure.
