Default Chinese ATV's

I purchased a 70CC quad from bestpricedatvs.com for my 9 year old son this past Christmas and I have a couple of questions. The manual that came with it is rather inaccurate so these are mostly maintenance related. In the manual it says to remove the seat to access the air filter however the only thing under the seat is the battery compartment. There is a round object next to the exhaust that looks like the air intake and I'm wondering if there is a filter in it? Next I'd like to change the oil which the manual says to use 10W30 however there are several what appear to be drain plugs on the bottom of the motor any idea what is the one I need to unscrew? Today I adjusted the air intake and idle with the help of a post on this web site from 2manytoys which was very helpfull. Finally I have the throttle governed down to about half speed via the screw on the throttle but I've noticed that it doesn't go up hills very well unless you get a running start, is that due to the throttle setting or do these lower end atv's just not have much low end tork to tackle hills. I'm not talking about significant grades, just getting up the driveway can be a challege. The name on the motor is Locin if that helps any. Finally the front brakes are useless as once you pull on the brakes and then release they never retrack resulting in a break squeal. The best I can tell the spring is too soft to return the brake control to a neutral position. Sorry for all the questions but my son loves this thing and I just want to get it running the best I can for him

On mine there is an opening to the front of the battery where you can see the air filter and the carburetor.

Normally the one nearest the right side of the motor.

You'll have to have more throttle to get up hills. Just keep it level until you feel comfortable with his skill.

You will either have to go into the drum to see what's going on or first see if something is binding the cable.

Regarding the oil change I'd seen some posts out here relating to unscrewing the wrong plug that had something attached to it and had to be put back in correctly
