snow plowing

does any body hear know if somebody makes a plow for the honda recon ? Also if any body plows with a recon how good does it work ?

Yes, Cycle Country does. I got mine from Ronnie's Mail Order for Christmas. Havent had enuff snow yet to do any REAL plowing. Have had 1-3" twice and it did fine with no chains and no weights.. I have them ready for the BIG ONE when/if it comes.

I did a large parking lot at the fire house, just for fun, and kept "banking" it out. Got to @ 14" of bank and started wishing I had more power. I think that it will do OK on most snowfalls, may have to do it more often ie: every 4", go plow again.

Most companies make a plow mount for a Recon. I would suggest using chains though. Being 2WD, you'll need more traction for deeper snow. Without the front end pulling, like on a 4WD, the front end may tend to "push out". Extra weight is always a plus too.
