I was cruisin' down the field and I came over a hill, then I started to slow down for some reason and suddenly the whole ATV sinks under ice in water. It's stuck up to the top of the wheels.
I was out there alone for over an hour trying to get out but she wouldn't budge.
So I had to walk a mile back to my house. I took a break now I'm going back out with my dad's truck to see if it will pull it out.
I should have had a camera with me, it was a sight to see. I'm in a valley full of water and ice, wherever I step I crack the ice and sink into water, luckily I had waterproof bots on.
Well see ya all later I'll tell what happened when I get back...If I ever get back...LOL

I'm gonna have to rag on you for even posting this one. I think it may have been common sense to why you slowed down. You should always know the conditions of the terrain. It could have been alot worse if you had gone fast and lost control. You would have been a popsicle (sp?) before anyone had found you. I don't know maybe it's because I am a dad. Damn... what happened to my since of adventurism?

Well you see it was snow on top of ice, I never knew that until I sank.
I did get it out, 2 people pulling at the front and I pushing with the gas on got it out in a couple pulls, the reason it go out so easy was because the water on top where I had been stuck froze while I went to get help so we just pulled it on to the ice and it was fine.
I don't need to drain the fluids because it wasn't very deep, it was just wedged in ice and mud. Just lots of ice build up all over it, I'm glad I got it out
SORRY NO PICS PUDDING, IT WAS DARK OUT WHEN I GOT IT OUT.
