I just replace the throttle/oiler cable, when I tried to start it it just turned over, now all the selonoid does is click when I try to start it. Batter is fully charged, I even tried jumping the selonoid and I get nothing... is there a fuse I don't know about??? Thanks

what about battery voltage. is it charged all the way up?</end quote></div>
yeah, sometimes the battery can read a full charge but as soon as you load it nothing. Take the battery to advace and have it load tested. They do this for free.

A fully charged battery should read about 12.5 volts on a volt meter.
As Mega XP suggested get it load tested than if the battery is OK start diagnosing from there.
You can not do a proper diagnostic procedure on any electrical component with a dead or bad battery.

Maby try a disasemble on the starter to see if it has moisture, dirt or a buildup of carbon from worn brushes.
Also check the brushes and springs to make sure the brushes are seating on the commutator.
check for any loose connections. It might be a loose or corroded battery terminal connection at the starter.

I agree with MrMarty51, and if you find wear you have 2 options. 1. order a new one $$$. 2. Take it to elec. motor shop see how much to re build it, this way you can get them to put some heavier components in so you don't have the prob again.
