Great quad, has most of the features of the bigger quads (locker, 4x4, IRS), in a smaller package. Have had mine for two seasons and put 1500 miles on it with no problems. IRS gives a nice smooth ride. Have even had it as deep as the headlights in water with no problems.

I have an '07 and it is a nifty little quad. I am 6' and it is a little cramped. It doesn't ride quite as smooth as my Grizz 660 but does have a very nice ride. I believe that it has the same features as my 660 and works great on tight wooded trails. The add'l ground clearance with IRS is nice on rocky trails which we have plenty of in Colorado.

Hello,
I bought an 08 in July last year for my gf to ride and it is a great quad. It lacks the refinement of my 08 700 but it cost 2K less as well. It is much easier to manuever in tight woods, and has excellent power. The refinement that I am referring to is that mine is cold blooded and requires babysitting it until it gets warmed up to keep it idling. If this quad had EPS and FI it would be awesome. One time while riding across deep ruts filled with water, the belt filled with water and it took a while to dry out. The physical size is a bit on the small size for a 6' person which is what I am, and it weighs just 7 pounds less than the 700 Griz. If they would lighten this quad and add the EPS and FI, and maybe just increase the physical size it would be perfect. She was following me through a pretty tough area where the mud was really deep and she was able to ride around a Sportsman 500 who was having a really tough go. I thought that was funny. She barely weighs a hundred pounds tho. lol

How is the back brakes? Is the sealed wet brakes any good ? Will they lock the back wheels up when applying brakes hard ?

I love mine! Great mid-sized quad! Hangs in the rocks no problem with the big-bores!

Sealed wet rear brake is the way to go! I might convert mine over if the parts don't cost much more than a $100... be we will see!
