Last weekend I blew my dads xpedition 425 away up in the mountains. We both got going up a long and fairly steep hill with about a foot of snow on it and he did'nt even make it a quarter of the way up the hill and I passed him up and blasted all the way to the top. In my opinion you just can't beat an automatic transmission when on hills. The kodiak is a very well thought out machine. I plan on putting 589's on it very soon. To be honest the xpedition is a very awesome machine in every category and it is also going to get reshoed with some 589's.

 

I was thinking of putting titan 589's on my kodiak as well. You'll have to let me know how you like them. As far as the kodiak in the snow, it just doesn't get any better. I plowed a lot of snow this winter with it. It really saves your back and is a great excuse to get out and ride. Keep riding!
